Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Han-Yu Chen (“we,” “us,” or “Developer”) handles information in connection with the AkinaNight iOS app and this website. AkinaNight is an interactive virtual water-cup driving smoothness challenge, not a navigation, GPS tracking, driving-safety, or professional vehicle-analysis service.
At a glance
AkinaNight has no account or login system. We do not collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, physical addresses, payment-card details, precise location, or travel routes. The app does not use GPS or Core Location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, Bluetooth, social login, user-generated content, push notifications, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or AI-based services.
Motion sensor data is processed on your device
AkinaNight uses the accelerometer, gyroscope, and Device Motion through Apple CoreMotion to calculate the real-time liquid simulation and respond to acceleration, braking, and turns. This motion data is processed locally on your device. It is not sent to our servers, stored by us, or shared with third parties by us.
Information handled by service providers
We use the service providers below for advertising and In-App Purchases. Their processing may vary by SDK version, device, consent choices, settings, region, and applicable law.
Google AdMob
AkinaNight uses Google Mobile Ads SDK / Google AdMob to show third-party advertising. Google may process device and advertising identifiers (including IDFA where applicable), IP address, app interactions and usage information, advertising data, performance information, non-user-related crash or diagnostic data, and approximate area inferred from IP address. AkinaNight itself does not use GPS or collect precise location.
Google may use this information for advertising, ad measurement, advertising-related analytics, fraud prevention, and service performance. Where applicable, personalized advertising and tracking are subject to iOS App Tracking Transparency, your consent, and relevant regional privacy requirements. Read Google’s Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat and Apple In-App Purchases
We use RevenueCat to manage App Store In-App Purchases and entitlements. Because AkinaNight has no account system, RevenueCat generally uses anonymous app-user identification. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user ID, App Store transaction and receipt-related information, purchase history, product identifiers, entitlement status, device type, OS version, app version, locale or country-related metadata, and timestamps. This enables purchase verification, entitlement management, restoring purchases, and continued In-App Purchase functionality.
Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. AkinaNight and RevenueCat do not directly process your credit-card number or store your payment-card details. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy, its Data Processing Addendum, and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Categories and purposes
Depending on the actual operation of AdMob and RevenueCat, information involved may include identifiers, device information, internet or app activity, purchase or transaction history, advertising data, usage data, and diagnostic or performance data. We use service providers only for the purposes described above: advertising and related measurement, fraud prevention, service performance, and In-App Purchase administration. We do not collect biometric data, professional information, education records, health data, sensitive personal information, precise geolocation, or audio or video recordings.
Selling or sharing
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Depending on configuration and applicable law, certain advertising-related disclosures to Google AdMob may constitute “sharing,” targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. You may request to opt out by contacting us, and advertising choices may also be managed through available iOS and consent controls.
Retention, security, and international transfers
AkinaNight has no backend database that retains user account data. Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy, subject to the retention practices of our service providers and applicable legal requirements. Google, RevenueCat, Apple, and other providers may retain information under their own policies.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to our processing. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. The app may be available globally, and service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, may be used under applicable data-protection law.
Your privacy rights
To make a privacy request, contact rollr76518@gmail.com. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify and respond to your request. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, opt-out, or appeal a denied request, as applicable.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Where applicable, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis, and the right to lodge a complaint with your relevant supervisory authority. Legal bases may include performance of a contract (such as providing IAP entitlements), consent (such as where required for advertising or tracking), legitimate interests (such as security, fraud prevention, and basic service performance), and legal obligations.
United States
Subject to applicable law and thresholds, residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and similar future state laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and appeal a denied request. This Policy does not state that we meet any particular statutory threshold.
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa
Where applicable, users may have rights under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25, the Australia Privacy Act, the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and South Africa’s POPIA, including rights to access or correct personal information and to raise concerns through the contact below or with the appropriate regulator.
Children
AkinaNight is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Some jurisdictions require a higher age for consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can address the concern.

This static website does not actively use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing scripts, and we do not use it to collect visitor personal information. It is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may process server logs, IP addresses, or other information under its own practices. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
